Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) women lawn tennis team is the winner of 2024 Kenya Institute of Bankers interbank tournament.
KCB thrashed Equity bank 2-1 in a match held at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies to claim the top prize.
KCB displayed resilience and tactical skill, with Charlotte Naswa and Diana forming an unstoppable duo on the court.
“It is a proud moment for us after an invigorating experience during this year’s competition” Naswa remarked.
She observed that compared to last year, this time round teams stepped up and as a result the competition was tougher.
While women’s team celebrated, KCB’s men tennis side had to settle for runners-up in what was a highly competitive match.
