Kenya Airport Authority on Tuesday denied reports circulating online on the involvement of Adani Group in the modernization of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
In a statement shared online , KAA clarified that the Privately Initiated Proposal previously linked to the Adani Group was formally cancelled and no engagement has been ongoing.
The authority maintained that there is no engagement with Adani or its affiliates .
KAA further stated that the JKIA modernisation and expansion programme is a Government of Kenya-funded initiative being implemented in line with established public-sector policies and procedures.
The statement was signed by Ag. Managing Director and CEO Dr. Mohamud Gedi.
