The National Assembly has invited all Kenyans to present their views on the impeachment motion against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
In a communique on Wednesday, the House asked Kenyans to email their submissions to impeachment@parliament.go.ke on or before Saturday, October 5.
The views on the special motion will be collated in public hearings which will be on Friday, October 4, across the country from 8am to 5pm.
The assembly has since gazetted venues across the 47 counties where the discussions will be held.
After the public input, Speaker Moses Wetang’ula said the hearing of the motion will begin on Tuesday, October 8, after which Gachagua will be given two hours to defend himself against the charges.
The motion, sponsored by Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse was tabled in the House on Tuesday, October 1.
