The ministry of health has denied rumors going around the internet that the motorcade of Aden Duale was involved in an accident that took place in the evening at Otonglo, in the Lake Victoria town of Kisumu.
In its statement, the ministry of health said that the Cabinet Secretary for Health only encountered the accident en route to Kisumu International Airport from Rarieda.
The ministry also said that the CS Duale stopped at the accident scene after realizing that there was an accident. The CS later helped mobilize emergency medical services to the accident scene.
This comes after rumors going around the internet suggested that the motorcade of the CS was involved in the accident.
“The motorcade of the Cabinet Secretary for Health stopped at the scene of a road traffic accident at Otonglo near the Molasses Plant in Kisumu, where the Cabinet Secretary mobilized an emergency medical response to assist the victims,” said the ministry.
