Harambee Stars fullback Clarke Oduor is poised to face English Premier League side Manchester United on Wednesday, August 27, after securing a high-profile move to English third-tier side Grimsby Town.
Oduor was born on 25 June 1999 in Siaya, Kenya and moved to the UK at a young age and came through the Leeds United academy before joining Barnsley FC in 2019.
He is best known for scoring the dramatic last-minute goal that kept Barnsley in the English Championship on the final day of the 2019/20 season.
In 2023, he signed with Bradford City in England’s League Two, where he has continued to impress with his versatility, playing both as a left-back and in more advanced attacking roles.
in 2025 he secured a high-profile move to English third-tier side Grimsby Town.
Internationally, Oduor pledged allegiance to Kenya despite being eligible for England, making his debut for the Harambee Stars in 2023. He has since been viewed as part of the next generation of Kenyan footballers bringing European experience into the squad.
