The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced new fuel prices for the period between January 15, 2025 and February 14, 2025.
In the review on Tuesday, January 14, EPRA slightly increased the maximum retail prices for the essential petroleum products.
The price for super petrol has been increased by KSh 0.29 per litre, diesel by KSh 2 per litre, and kerosene by KSh 3 per litre.
With the increase, the new petrol price in Nairobi will be KSh 176.58, diesel will retail at KSh 167.06 and KSh 151.39 for kerosene.
EPRA noted that the prices include the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) and adjusted excise duties in accordance with the Finance Act 2023 and the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024.
