Drug seizure in Narok County on July 1 led to a high-speed police chase after officers from Ntulele Police Station attempted to stop a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado suspected of transporting bhang from Kisii to Nairobi.
The driver took turn off along the Narok–Mai Mahiu Highway but later abandoned the vehicle on the Nairegie Enkare feeder road after it broke down. The two occupants escaped into a nearby maize plantation and are still at large.
During the drug seizure in Narok, police recovered three sacks containing 600 rolls of cannabis sativa. The vehicle and drugs are now secured at Ntulele Police Station as investigations continue.
