Popular Kenyan DJ and entertainer, DJ Mo, is on a mission to track down a woman who falsely accused him of being the father of her child in a viral TikTok trend.

Recently, TikTok has seen a rise in a controversial challenge called “The Useless Thing I Got My Child.” In this trend, women post photos of their kids next to pictures of men they claim are absent or “deadbeat” dads. While some of these stories might be true, many seem to be made for attention—and some, like DJ Mo’s case, are completely false.

DJ Mo was shocked to see his name dragged into the trend by a woman identified as Ashley, who shared a photo implying he fathered her child. Outraged, DJ Mo took to Instagram Stories to respond and ask the public for help.

“If you know this lady or where she stays, please reach out,” he posted. “KSh 10,000 reward for any useful information.”

He made it clear that the accusation had not only upset him but could damage his reputation, family life, and career.
