Nominated Member of Parliament Denar Joseph Hamisi is dead.
Confirming his death, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula said Denar breathed his last on Saturday, December 6, at about 7am.
"It is with profound sorrow that I hereby notify the House and the entire Parliamentary fraternity of the untimely demise of Nominated Member, the late Denar Joseph Hamisi, MP, who passed on today, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at about 7:00 am," Speaker Wetang'ula said.He was nominated to the House following the 2022 General Election under the now-defunct Amani National Congress (ANC) Party.
Until his demise, Denar served as a member of the Departmental Committee on Sports and Culture and the Select Committee on National Cohesion and Equal Opportunities.
