The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has issued a public alert seeking information that could lead to the arrest of a suspect linked to alleged cybercrime activities within Kenya.

In a notice circulated on Wednesday, the DCI said the individual, whose photograph has been released to the public, is suspected of committing various cyber-related offences and is currently at large.

“The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is seeking the public’s help in providing information that could assist in the arrest of the individual whose photograph appears below,” the notice read.

The agency stated that a significant reward will be offered to anyone who provides credible information leading to the suspect’s arrest. Members of the public have been urged to share any details on the suspect’s whereabouts through confidential channels.

Information can be reported anonymously via the #FichuaKwaDCI toll-free hotline 0800722203, WhatsApp line 0709 570 000, or through police emergency numbers 999, 911 and 112. Reports can also be made at any police station across the country.

The DCI reiterated its commitment to combating cybercrime, noting that such offences pose growing risks to individuals, businesses and national security, and appealed for public cooperation to ensure the suspect is brought to justice.
