Supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber are mourning the death of their son Presley Gerber, who passed away from an apparent drug overdose.
“He is sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever. We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability,” Cindy posted on Instagram.
We feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from so many who know and love our family and even strangers who feel our pain. Til we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever, Mom, Dad and Kaia,” she added.
The 27-year-old died on September 20 at a rehab facility in California.
Presley had followed in the footsteps of his mother and younger sister, carving out his own path in modelling, with his modelling debut for Italian label Moschino at the age of 16.

He worked with major brands and appeared in campaigns alongside his sister, quickly becoming recognized in the fashion industry.
His sister also dedicated a post to him paying tribute to her brother.
“But when I held the earring they took from your body, all I could think was: That belongs to you. I am learning how to love you when I cannot see you. How to tell you something without picking up my phone to call you. How to be your sister in a world that I can’t reach for you in,” her sister wrote.
According to his family, Presley openly spoke about his mental health challenges and drug use, frequently posting videos of himself in what he called, “Mental Health Mondays.”
