Bribery Tops List in EACC’s 2024 National Ethics and Corruption Survey

Bribery remains the most prevalent form of corruption in the country. This is according to the newly launched National Ethics and Corruption Survey Report 2024 by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

According to the 2024 National Ethics and Corruption Survey Report 2024 47.8 percent of the citizens who interacted with the Interior ministry reported experiencing or witnessing corrupt or unethical conduct.

Other public institutions that featured including the ministry of lands 5.6 percent and education 2.6 percent and transport 3.9 percent, County Government were not soared as survy done countrywide.

The commission urged the public servants to uphold the values of integrity.This year’s report highlights the persistent nature of bribery as a barrier to effective service delivery, underscoring the need for stronger enforcement, civic education, and institutional reforms.
