Kenyan media personality and social media influencer Azziad Nasenya suffers a huge financial setback following the official listing of her luxurious apartment in Kileleshwa for sale by auction, after she was accused of defaulting on a KSh 25 million mortgage.
Accounts have the loan borrowed by Azziad from a SACCO in March 2025. However, scarcely three months down the line, she was reportedly in arrears and lost contact with her creditors.
The property in question is located at Platinum Oak Residency, a high-end estate along Oloitoktok Road, Lavington. The apartment is a spacious four-bedroom (approximately 256 square meters) with a servant’s quarter in Block A. The property will be sold on October 8, 2025, with a 10% deposit due on the fall of the hammer.
A Pattern of Financial Strain
This incident adds to a string of financial issues the TikTok influencer has been facing in recent years. She has previously been accused by numerous individuals of borrowing money and failing to pay it back. Her public image of luxury is even said by some critics to have been funded through loans from friends and smaller groups.
Despite the financial turmoil, Azziad has also been strong. Earlier in March 2025, just days after responding to debt rumors, she signed a new brand partnership deal a testament that she continues to find it difficult to rebuild her image and career. She has also spoken out to her fans, expressing hope and determination, regularly reminding them that “tough times don’t last forever.”
