Tomorrow, July 19, 2026, the world will witness an anticipated performance by Shakira and Burna Boy taking center stage at the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final halftime show.
The performance, set for MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, will unfold during the clash between defending champions Argentina and Spain, turning football’s biggest night into a global entertainment.
FIFA has resisted the idea of halftime, keeping the focus on the pitch. But this year, the organization has embraced a new format, extending halftime to nearly 30 minutes to accommodate a show designed to rival the Super Bowl’s legendary performances.
Shakira and Burna Boy, who opened the tournament on June 11, 2026, performing “Dai Dai” the official anthem of the 2026 World Cup, will also perform, “Dai Dai” again tomorrow together with the Ugandan Ghetto Kids, known for their vibrant dance style.
Tomorrow’s performance is already lined up with Madonna, BTS, Justin Bieber, Coldplay with PS22 Chorus, Gustavo Dudamel and Sesame Street and the Muppets are expected to perform too.
The anticipated performance is predicted to be remembered as one of the defining moments for decades.
