President William Ruto on Wednesday hosted AFC Leopards Sports Club at State House, Nairobi, and congratulated the team for an impressive performance in the recently concluded FKF Premier League season.

The President praised the club for finishing second in the league standings, describing the achievement as a testament to the team’s hard work, discipline and determination throughout the campaign.

During the meeting, President Ruto reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the club as it seeks to strengthen its position in Kenyan football and realise its full potential.

“I congratulate AFC Leopards for an outstanding season where they finished second in the FKF Premier League. We remain committed to supporting the club as it strives to realise its full potential,” the President said.

AFC Leopards, one of Kenya’s most successful and widely supported football clubs, enjoyed a strong campaign and narrowly missed out on the league title, raising optimism among supporters ahead of the new season.
