Kenyan comedian and media personality Dr. Ofweneke has apologized to rapper Stevo Simple following controversial remarks made by Andrew Kibe during a podcast segment.
In a statement shared online, Dr. Ofweneke has clarified that the video containing Kibe’s statement was uploaded after he had already spoken to Stevo directly on the phone. He emphasized that he had personally apologized to Stevo, promising that the segment would be deleted from the podcast.
His apology comes hours after Stevo Simple Boy spoke out regarding Kibe’s remarks, urging him to keep his child out public discussions.
Many stood with Stevo, condemning Kibe’s remarks regardless of who he is and his family, demanding respect for persons as some matters are sensitive when speaking to public.
