Kenya Airways has temporarily halted its Nairobi–Dubai repatriation flight following a security advisory from Dubai International Airport authorities.
According to a customer notification dated March 6, 2026, the airline stated that the decision to halt today’s Nairobi–Dubai and Dubai–Nairobi repatriation flight resulted from a security advisory from Dubai International Airport authorities.
The notification further stated, “We wish to inform our customers that we have suspended today’s (March 6, 2026) repatriation flight to and from Dubai following security guidance from Dubai Airport authorities.”
Although Kenya Airways has not revealed the details regarding the security concerns, it only stated that the decision to stop the Nairobi–Dubai and Dubai–Nairobi flight is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of all involved.
“The safety of our customers and crew is of utmost importance to us, and we will ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to guarantee the safety of all involved,” the airline further stated .
The airline has also asked customers to visit the website for updates on the Nairobi–Dubai and Dubai–Nairobi route as Kenya Airways awaits further updates on when the flights will resume.
The airline notified their valued customers to contact the Kenya-UAE consulate for further notifications regarding their flight status as they await further notifications regarding their flight status.
The airline notified their valued customers that, “We will provide more updates once there is clarity on when flights will resume.”
