Popular Kenyan Musician Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh has cut ties with his longtime manager ,Moses Kimani Marite. Samidoh announced terminating Moses Marite’s services on his social media platforms.
He announced the development in a public notice by Samidoh Entertainment. The development stated that his manager’s services were terminated, effectively and immediately.
The notice also warned the public against conducting any business on behalf of Samidoh Muchoki. According to the development, Marite is no longer authorized to enter into contracts on behalf of the Mugithi maestro.
The decision brings to an end what had been a strong professional relationship between Samidoh and Marite. There are numerous speculations about what could have led to the abrupt fallout.
The termination happens at a time when rumours circulating on social media claim Marite has been involved in heinous acts. Marite has been alleged to solicit funds in entertainment joints using Samidoh’s name.
The unforseen move has taken Kenyans in the entertainment industry by surprise. Marite has contributed significantly to Samidoh’s fame and success in the entertainment industry.
Marite and Samidoh’s Relationship
Marite and Samidoh first met in highschool where they became fast friends. In a previous interview, he revealed that they parted ways after schol but reunited when Samidoh was planning a homecoming event.
Marite was working for the county government then. He asked Samidoh to bring artists and pay suppliers then he would take care of the rest of the logistics.
Samidoh on realizing he was serious in handling the homecoming event, he handed him the role of manager.
Moses Marite is an engineer by profession. He contested for an MCA seat in Nyandarua County in 2022. Marite however failed to make the cut. In a recent post on his Facebook page, Moses shared a snippet of his side hustle, Marite Mali Mali Kabanda. He asked Netizens to support his hustle. He shared,
