Gachagua Mourns Top UDA Politician Killed in Road Accident

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has expressed deep sorrow following the untimely demise of Hon. Ezra Kihara, a Nominated Member of the County Assembly (MCA) in Kiambu County.

Hon. Kihara, a dedicated and promising young leader, tragically lost his life in a road accident.

In a statement through his social media pages, the Deputy President praised Kihara for his commitment to public service, noting that he had recently held productive discussions with him and other County MCAs about the progress of the Alcoholic Drinks Control Bill, 2024.

“Hon. Kihara was a brilliant, prolific, and promising young leader, whose focus was serving the people and the nation of Kenya,” Gachagua said.

He added that Kihara had been a key figure in the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party, serving with distinction and dedication.

Gachagua expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Hon. Kihara, as well as to the people of Kiambu County.

He urged them to find strength during this difficult time as they come to terms with the tragic loss of a visionary leader.

“May God grant the family, friends, and relatives of Hon. Kihara, the Kiambu County Assembly, and the people the strength to endure this loss. Rest in peace, Hon. Kihara,” the Deputy President concluded.
