Social Media Influencer Lydia Wanjiru has finally broken her silence following the shocking apartment incident where she reported her close friend Leone was hospitalized after he fell inside their apartment complex.
As narrated by Lydia, Leone slipped as he was removing his shoes. Later, CCTV cameras exposed that the balcony railings in the complex are extremely low raising concerns on safety within the complex.
The accident comes two days after a two-year-old was reportedly dropped from the second floor of the same apartment building. In a grisly coincidence, Lydia reports they found the toddler on the same hospital ward where Leone eventually ended up.
“I was the third person to see him down,” Lydia explained. “But again, being Kikuyu and being open is a crime. God bless that it didn’t happen when it was just the two of us or in a house that does not have CCTV.”
The quote elicited mixed responses on the internet, with some fans worried about the lack of proper security measures in apartments, while others praised her for venting openly.
Wrapping up on a positive note, Lydia wrote, “The devil cannot win where God is in lead.” The emotional post has since been widely shared online, with supporters rallying behind the pair and sending get-well wishes to Leone for a speedy recovery.
