Motorists using Jogoo Road or Nyasa Road this weekend have been advised to expect traffic disruptions this coming weekend, as the government carries out culvert installation works in the area.
In a public notice issued by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA), stated that there’ll be traffic disruptions starting 10pm Friday, July 18, all the way to 11pm Monday, July 21, to make room for culvert works.
The agency urge motorists to “exercise caution” and follow directions from traffic marshals and police, who’ll be around the site to keep things from going off the rails.
Drivers are also being told to obey any signage put up around the affected areas.
KURA’s apologized in advance for the inconvenience. The works are part of efforts to fix up urban mobility.
