Kenyan actor and content creator Martin Githinji, widely known as Daddie Marto, has finally spoken out following a wave of online allegations that have surfaced in recent hours. In a formal statement released on June 16, 2025, Marto addressed the issue head-on, clarifying his stance and expressing deep concern over the nature of the claims being circulated.
In the statement, Marto emphasized that his primary focus has been to protect the well-being of his children and those involved, which is why he had initially chosen to remain silent. However, due to the growing public interest and speculation, he felt it necessary to respond publicly.
“I want to state unequivocally: I do not condone violence of any kind—physical, emotional, or psychological,” he wrote. He went on to firmly reject the accusations made against him, describing them as “false and harmful,” and claimed that the current narrative was both “misleading” and lacking in crucial context.
Marto stressed the importance of handling the matter through appropriate legal channels rather than engaging in public confrontations. He affirmed that evidence exists to clarify the situation more fully and vowed to pursue justice with the dignity it deserves. According to him, safety and legal support have already been sought, especially with children involved in the matter.
Calling it a “heartbreaking time,” Marto reflected on the pain of separation, particularly when it impacts family life. He also noted the toll that online slander and harassment can take—not just on public figures, but on families and communities at large.
He concluded his statement by thanking those who have worked with him, supported him, or offered him patience during this difficult period. To the public, he appealed for “restraint, compassion, and understanding.” Most importantly, he directed a heartfelt message to his children, assuring them of his presence, honesty, and unwavering love.
