In a scene straight out of a romantic movie, a daring young man has caused a stir in the social media platforms after publicly proposing marriage to Winnie Odinga, daughter of late former prime minister Raila Odinga.
The man, whose identity remains unknown, took a placard and made the daring proposal noting that Winnie was his missing rib.
“Winnie Odinga mpenzi wangu mwenye mungu alikuumba kutokana na ubavi wangu am humble boy from the village nataka kukuoa. Kindly accept my proporsal!!,” read the placard.
While some praised the man for his courage and sense of humor, others joked that he had just signed up for “a political interview, not a marriage proposal.”
“Huyu anataka mtu wa kumlisha tu, njaa ni mbaya sana,” said Lucy Ebenyo a social media user.
Dern Ochieng said : “Nenda ukatafute pesa ya cabbage njaa ndio inakusumbua,”
Nyaosi Erick said “Be strong man and follow your heart.”
