Vera Sidika has addressed the sudden loss of a Kenyan lady who passed away after cosmetic surgery in a Nairobi-based clinic. The Instagram influencer urged women to be extra careful and cautious.
Vera Sidika cautioned her fans that she has heard numerous horror cases ,
“The number of horror stories that come from that facility…what’s online is just the surface. I’ve heard stories. Crazy stories,”
The Instagram influencer sent condolences to the deceased’s family. She also insisted the importance of performing research before undergoing cosmetic surgery,
“Please do your research very well before trusting anyone with your life. If you’ve got to do it, go for board-certified surgeons with a lot of experience,” she advised, adding that extensive experience is key for ensuring both safety and positive results. “I would even advise over 15 years’ experience, with thousands of surgeries performed successfully.”
Narrating about undergoing a recent cosmetic procedure, Vera Sidika insisted that she went for facial fillers instead of cosmetic surgery. She explained,
“By the way, I did not get cosmetic surgery on my face. Some people need exposure, fr. I got fillers—they are temporary, last nine months, then dissolve. Even with that, I had been doing research since September 2023. Not surgery—one full year of research before I went ahead.”
Vera also revealed details of how she communicated with the clinic and how they guided her before her visit. She consulted for a nose contour and fillers on her jawline, chin and cheeks.
