A statement has gone viral online claiming Sports Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and Kapseret MP Kipchumba Murkomen have been banned from traveling to the United States of America.
The statement purportedly from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) claimed the two politicians had been restricted from traveling to the country over tendering malpractices involving Indian conglomerate Adani Group.
However, the US Embassy in Nairobi has dismissed the allegation.
Taking to social media, the embassy stamped the viral statement as fake.
