Kenyan Premier League side Ulinzi Stars Football Club has parted ways with head coach Dunstan Nyaudo following a disappointing start to the season.
In an official statement, the former league champions confirmed that Nyaudo had been relieved of his duties “with immediate effect.”
“The management appreciates Coach Nyaudo’s dedication, professionalism, and service to the team both on and off the pitch during his time in charge. We extend our sincere gratitude to Coach Nyaudo for his contributions to the Ulinzi Stars family and wish him the very best in his future endeavours,” the statement read.
Ulinzi Stars have struggled to find form this campaign, managing just one win from their opening five fixtures.
The team currently sits 13th in the 18-team Premier League table with five points.
The decision brings an end to Nyaudo’s third stint in charge of the military outfit, closing yet another chapter in his long association with the club.
A former Ulinzi player between 1993 and 2002, Nyaudo transitioned to coaching in 2017, initially serving as interim manager before being confirmed the following year.

He left in 2020 but returned in July 2024 after a successful run with the club’s U20 side, where he was credited for nurturing young talent.
His third appointment in August 2025 was seen as a strategic move to bring stability and promote youth within the squad, but inconsistent results ultimately led to his dismissal.
