Detectives from the Criminal Intelligence Investigations Bureau (CRIB) and the Operations Unit at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Headquarters, in collaboration with officers from Endebess Police Station, have made significant progress in the fight against violent crime in Endebess and surrounding areas.
In a statement ,DCI noted that in a coordinated operation, the team successfully apprehended two suspects linked to a series of violent robberies and murders.
The arrests come as a result of an intensive investigation into recent criminal activities in the region.
“Detectives from the Criminal Intelligence Investigations Bureau (CRIB) and Operations Unit at the DCI Headquarters, together with DCI officers from Endebess Police Station, have apprehended two suspects and seized suspected motorcycles of victims of violent robberies and murders in Endebess area and its environs,”Statement read.
During the operation, authorities also seized suspected motorcycles believed to have been used in the commission of these crimes.
The motorcycles, which were reportedly taken from victims, are crucial pieces of evidence in linking the suspects to the violent incidents.
The suspects are currently in custody, and investigations are ongoing to uncover any additional individuals involved in the criminal activities.
