During his development tour day three of the Gusii region, President William Ruto urged Kenyans to elect leaders who have a verifiable track record of development and dismiss those who spread divisive politics.
Addressing a series of delegations in Kisii County, the head of state unveiled several key projects that are aimed at stuffed people’s welfare, but also include new markets roads student hostels and affordable housing units.
Ruto’s program officially commenced with his laying the foundation stone for the Mogonga modern market, a KSh55 million project.
Together with the opening of Keumbu and Masimba markets, the President also unveiled the construction of student hostels at Nyamache KMTC, Kisii University and Kisii National Polytechnic.
Besides, the President reviewed the last mile electricity connectivity project in Ibeno and visited the Kisii Cancer Center before engaging with the residents in Kisii town.
On these occasions, President Ruto motivated the local people to prioritize leaders who accomplish real development. He also encouraged the people to sign up with the Social Health Authority so that they can take advantage of the government’s universal healthcare system.
Furthermore, Ruto came to the shield of a broad-based government, mentioning that it has contributed to national unity and cohesion.
