President William Ruto has assured the nation that his administration’s transformation agenda remains firmly on track, with significant progress being made in universal healthcare, affordable housing, and market infrastructure.

Speaking at State House Nairobi after a meeting with Members of Parliament from Nyandarua County, the President highlighted the strides made in health, noting that universal healthcare is now delivering services more comprehensively than ever before.

He said that ordinary Kenyans, including small-scale traders, are already reaping the benefits of the government’s development initiatives, with Mama Mboga now enjoying decent spaces to conduct business and many citizens gaining access to homeownership through the affordable housing programme.

The meeting with Nyandarua leaders focused on key development issues affecting the region.

President Ruto said his administration remains committed to supporting the county’s growth through projects such as the expansion of JM Kariuki Hospital, the establishment of Nyandarua University, the construction of Ol Kalou Stadium, and the electrification and improvement of road infrastructure.

He reaffirmed the government’s resolve to deliver on the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda by ensuring that every region, including Nyandarua, receives its fair share of national development.

The President said the collaboration between national and county leaders is vital in accelerating service delivery and improving the quality of life for all Kenyans.
