President William Ruto has reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with Tanzania following the conclusion of his two-day State Visit to the neighbouring country.

In a statement after bidding farewell to Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan at State House Dodoma, Ruto thanked President Suluhu and the people of Tanzania for what he described as exceptional warmth and hospitality during the historic visit.

“We commit to fully play our part in advancing the implementation of the agreements we have signed in pursuit of mutual and shared growth,”Ruto said.

The President said Kenya remains committed to fully implementing agreements signed between the two countries in pursuit of mutual growth and shared economic prosperity.

Ruto further emphasized the need for continued cooperation between Nairobi and Dodoma, noting that stronger partnerships under the East African Community framework would accelerate regional integration and unlock greater opportunities for citizens of both nations.
