President William Ruto has urged Kenyans to actively participate in identifying gaps in the country’s education system, saying the government is committed to ensuring that no child is left behind.

Speaking during a public engagement on Thursday, President Ruto emphasized the importance of collaboration between citizens and government in addressing educational challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, poor access to learning facilities, and out-of-school children.

“We want not to leave any child behind,” the President said. “As we do that, you have the responsibility to give us information on where we have gaps — in schools, in development of infrastructure, in education, in laboratory development, and in children who are not going to school.”

The Head of State reiterated that education remains a top priority in his administration’s development agenda, noting that data from communities will help the government plan better and deploy resources more effectively.

Ruto called on local leaders, teachers, parents, and community-based organizations to report where students lack access to classrooms, science labs, or other vital learning tools.
