President William Ruto has once again called out the opposition for having no meaningful development agenda for the people of Kenya.
President Ruto described the faction as disorganised, bitter and only focused on removing him from office in the 2027 polls, without giving alternative solutions to make the lives of Kenyans better.
Speaking at Kivaywa Comprehensive School in Lugari, Kakamega County, the head of state said the opposition’s now overused “Ruto must go” slogan is an empty rhetoric that offers no solutions to the country’s pressing issues.
"Their only message is 'Ruto must go'. But how does that solve challenges in healthcare, education, or agriculture? They are angry and bitter, yet they have no plan. We cannot hand over leadership to such people," said President Ruto. The opposition consists of former DP Rigathi Gachagua, Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugene Wamalwa, Fred Matiang’i, and Martha Karua, among others.
