President William Ruto on Saturday morning joined the Harambee Stars for a breakfast meeting at the Pullman Hotel in Nairobi County, as the national football team intensifies preparations for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024.
Speaking at the breakfast meeting, the head of state hailed tournament.”CHAN 2024 is a moment for Kenya to shine. It’s our chance to showcase the talent of our players, the unity of our people, and the warmth of our hospitality as we proudly co-host this continental tournament.” said Ruto
The President rallied Kenyans to support one of our own “Harambe Stars
“This month, there’s only one party: Harambee Stars and our slogan is “Stars Must Win”. Let’s turn out in large numbers and rally behind our national team as they push for victory.” he added
The breakfast meeting served as a morale boost for the players and technical team, as Kenya looks to make a strong statement on the continental stage both on and off the pitch.
