Digital content creator Naomi Kuria has shared her thoughts on Kenyan homes playing artificial intelligence music, stating she doesn’t enjoy it and prefers songs created by real human artists.

“How do you feel about AI music? When I come to your house, alafu nipate umeeka mixtape ya AI, I’m leaving ama you change tuskize human beings, haumiss Sauti ya mtu?” Naomi said.

She added that music has different tastes in emotions, expression and styles, revealing they intend to lack diversity.

Naomi is known for comedic skits, candid commentary and fearless approach to trending topics, blending them with humor .

She noted that even with the different voices used in AI- generated songs, the outcome will still sound similar regardless of whether the song is sung by male or female .

“ A song sung by a male AI is same as a song sung by female,” she added.

She went further and criticised the increase of such songs on social media platforms, especially YouTube and TikTok where most people prefer to shoot their content instead of using songs sung by people.

While AI has been praised for its efficiency in innovation, many artists and fans worry it could erode the authenticity of human expression.

As the music industry continues to boom, musicians, comedians and digital creators are pushing boundaries, while Naomi has called on people to listen to original songs instead generated ones.
