Police officers swooped in on a suspected drug trafficker in Kamulu, Nairobi County, recovering 5,660 rolls of bhang.
The operation, carried out on July 1 by officers from the National Police Service (NPS), was part of a targeted crackdown on drug networks in Ruai Sub-County.
The suspect is expected to be arraigned as investigations continue.
The NPS has issued a stern warning to those dabbling in the illicit drug trade, stating that the law is catching up.
“We warn the public against any involvement in drug trafficking as we remain committed to combating narcotics and related criminal activities,” said a statement from NPS.
