Radio host Mwalimu Rachel has sympathised with Kenyan mothers who are seeking for nannies. Mwalimu Rachel shared that finding a good nanny is a huge task for most Kenyan women.
“If you are a woman or a mother trying to get a nanny I sympathize with you I do not know where to get one.
These ladies wanataka kula raha. They want to get drunk. They still want to work and it can’t work like that.”
‘Kienyeji’ nannies were good. With kienyeji nannies the only thing you had to be worried about is them going home for Christmas and them getting pregnant.
Now even those Kienyeji ones are one Tiktok and telling all your business on her live session.”
Mwalimu Rachel reacted to an earlier revelation by Milly Chebby who said that she has employed more than 20 nannies since the year began. The mother of one narrated how one of the nannies called and told her that she was going away shortly after Milly left home. Milly narrated that,
“Since the last nanny left I have employed 20, They would come in two. Nothing scares me anymore.
Finally, I have settled, I have two nannies and one is very good with Milah, she has even added weight. There is one who came and called me while I was out and she told me she was leaving,”
