Kenyan comedian and media personality Mulamwah has caused a stir on social media after opening up about the end of his past relationship with actress and content creator Carrol Sonie. In an explosive Instagram post, Mulamwah claimed that his more recent ex-girlfriend, Ruth K, played a major role in ruining what he described as a “beautiful marriage” with Carrol.
In his candid message, Mulamwah addressed Ruth K directly, accusing her of being the reason his relationship with Carrol fell apart. “I had a beautiful marriage until you came. Kumbe ulikua unakuja kunimaliza,” he wrote. The comedian expressed regret and disappointment, alleging that Ruth never came into his life with good intentions but rather to destroy what he had built—emotionally and socially.
Mulamwah described how Ruth’s actions and jealousy created tension and distrust. According to him, her envy of his previous family life, achievements, and success pushed her to act in ways that undermined his relationships. He went on to claim that Ruth not only disrespected him but also his parents and their home, further deepening the cracks in his personal life.
He also accused Ruth of refusing to listen to his advice, opting instead to be influenced by friends and external opinions. “You never listened. You kept following advice adi wakakuhamisha from home to Ruaka,” he wrote. This, he suggested, marked the beginning of the end for his relationships, as the emotional and physical separation created distance and resentment.
Despite the heavy accusations, Mulamwah acknowledged that what happened with Carrol is now in the past, calling it “water under the bridge.” However, he maintained that Ruth K’s influence was a key factor in the breakdown, something he says he can no longer stay silent about.
In the same post, Mulamwah made it clear that he would no longer shield anyone or hold back his truth. “I stand for facts and fear no one,” he said. He also sent a message to his followers and critics, saying he has tried to keep peace but feels the need to defend his name now that the situation has escalated online.
