Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) National Chairman Ndiritu Muriithi has emphasized the need for peaceful politics and unity, saying they are crucial in driving the country’s economic growth.

Speaking on Saturday during a public forum at Kangaru High School in Embu, Muriithi said political differences should never disrupt the peace that underpins progress.

“We need politics of respect, peace, and the rule of law. People may differ politically, but that should never disturb the peace that drives economic growth,” he said.

Muriithi further noted that the government is putting collected revenue to good use, urging Kenyans to continue paying taxes to enable sustained development.

“Taxes are being utilized for the benefit of the people. They fund infrastructure, health, education, and other essential services. I urge all Kenyans to remain compliant so that the country can continue to move forward,” he added.

He stressed that enhanced revenue collection is key to realizing Kenya’s long-term development goals under the Kenya Kwanza administration.
