Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has condemned what he termed as rising political intolerance, following an alleged attack on Senator Godfrey Osotsi.

Speaking during a political rally in Masinga, Kalonzo said the incident was a worrying indicator of a regime that is increasingly resorting to intimidation and violence to maintain power.

The opposition leader, who is spearheading the formation of a “United Alternative Government in waiting,” claimed the attack reflects a broader pattern of disregard for democratic values and the rule of law.

He called on security agencies to move with speed and ensure those responsible are held accountable, singling out Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo for what he described as the need to take full responsibility under the law.

Kalonzo also used the platform to mobilize young people to register for national identity cards, emphasizing their importance in civic participation and future elections.

“It is not just a document; it is your voice and your seat at the table,” he said, urging the youth to take an active role in shaping the country’s leadership.
