Social media was full of excitement after rumors had been circulating regarding Mumias East MP, Hon. Peter Salasya, with the public speculating about his lifestyle. His personal assistant has, however, come in to disabuse people of such rumors.
In an online posting, Harriet outlined that Salasya is a no-nonsense leader who never drinks during the day. She revealed that the legislator has a no-drinking policy for himself and even his workers, with anyone disobeying the rule losing their job.
“He never drinks in the day. Even his workers can be fired for it. He’s a no-nonsense boss,” Harriet outlined.
She continued to say that Salasya, the person who already announced that she would run for president, has considerably reduced consumption of liquor. The MP, she adds, drinks at most twice a week, and during weeks he does not even drink at all. Importantly, she noted that he never takes even a sip of alcohol before 10 PM.
“Now that he’s running for the presidency, he drinks only twice a week, sometimes not even once. The 6th apekwe heshima zake, unless it’s later than 10 PM. Don’t get it twisted!” she clarified.
This explanation comes in the wake of rising public attention around Salasya, who has gone on to stir up sympathy with his attitude and presidential ambitions.
