Media personality and gospel singer Grace Ekirapa has opened up about the emotional toll and stigma she endured following her separation from actor and musician Pascal Tokodi, and the challenges she is facing as a single mother.
Ekirapa revealed the breakup was not only personally painful but also a magnified by public scrutiny and judgment. She also mentioned the separation was not the end of a romantic relationship but a failed envisioned future.
Ekirapa and Tokodi wedded in 2020, with fans and followers admiring their affection and relationship. Ekirapa described the silent emotions behind closed doors hurt her as she tried to embrace with the world. After three years of marriage, they separated in 2023 each moving to separate houses due to financial strains.
Despite the challenges, Ekirapa emphasized her reliance on faith, self-care and family support as she has built a spiritual foundation that has helped her regain strength, while her close family encouraged her to move forward despite what she has gone through.
Ekirapa has said they ae both co-parenting as their daughter tries to get love from both side as she is growing up as it won’t affect her life.
