Government Spokesperson Dr. Isaac Mwaura characterized critics that doubt Kenya’s development as “enemies of growth” and therefore their criticisms are invalid. While unveiling the 2025 government scorecard in Nairobi, Mwaura emphasized the array of achievements that were realized in different sectors of the economy.
He used the affordable housing project as an example of a revolutionary move, explaining that it has resulted in the employment of over 2 million people in Kenya.
Mwaura further expressed a significant reduction in the cost of living index from 9.7 to 4.6 and he credited the change to the government’s efforts in working with foreign partners to revitalize the economy.
Mwaura called upon citizens to recognize the country’s development milestones and at the same time keep on supporting the policies that promote economic stability and social welfare.
