The Government has completed the facelift and structural upgrade of Limuko Primary School in Bahati Constituency, Nakuru County, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to improve access to quality education and strengthen learning infrastructure across the country.
This is following the Governments pledge to education as indicated by the National Budget for 2026/27 which set aside the lions share of the nations income for the sector in an effort to widen access to quality learning opportunities for all children.
For years, learners at Limuko Primary School studied in aging and dilapidated classrooms that no longer met the needs of a modern education system. The completed upgrade has transformed the institution into a more conducive learning environment equipped to support the effective implementation of the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum.
Part of the project was the construction of a multipurpose hall, administration block, 10 state of the art classrooms, that upgraded the sanitation facilities in the school. The new infrastructure will That means help improve teaching and learning as well as the numbers of learners the school can have and excel in academics and in the overall development of the learners.
Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo claims the enhanced facilities will offer learners and teachers a more democratic dignified safe and learner, friendly environment while assisting achievement.
The State Department for Internal Security and National Administration works in close collaboration with local community stakeholders and agencies to protect and sustain school facility so that learners can continue to operate in safe, secure and well maintained learning environments.
