Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has launched a scathing attack on President William Ruto, accusing him of using bribes to influence Parliament and likening State House to a “crime scene.”
Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV, Gachagua alleged that the Head of State has been bribing elected leaders in both the Senate and the National Assembly to push through bills that serve his personal interests rather than the needs of Kenyans.
“State House today is a crime scene. Elected leaders are being bribed to pass bills that benefit the President personally, not the people,” Gachagua claimed.
He further criticized President Ruto for what he described as “playing politics with national matters,” urging him to focus on governance instead of personal gain.
“Ruto should stop behaving like a crying baby. National issues should not be turned into personal political games,” Gachagua stated.
