Kenyan content creator and wife of gospel musician Guardian Angel, Esther Musila has called out to Kenyan women in their middle years to self-love and be resilience. In a her Facebook page, Musila, addressed women aged 40-60 years should embrace the physical and emotional changes that come with time adding that they are entering a new chapter.
Musila, emphasised at this stage more body changes are often visible including grey hair, wrinkles and body weight. Rather than seeing these as flaws, we mark them as a life well-lived. She described her peers as “warriors in the quiet”, highlighting the many responsibilities women handle behind the scenes.
“We have run households, paid the bills, dealt with sickness, sadness, and everything else life has assigned us. We are survivors,” she said.
Musila likened women in their 40s-60s to “a classic car or fine wine” suggesting that value is not lost but rather refined over time. She reminded her followers that physical appearances change, the body serves a deeper purpose, adding the bodies are the vessels that carry our souls, our courage and our strength.
Lately, Musila has been on the talk on social media regarding her age with her husband and her children taking her to court over her late husband property.
