Aden Duale joined thousands of Muslim faithful at Sir Ali Muslim Club grounds in Nairobi for Eid ul-Fitr prayers, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Health CS sent Eid Mubarak wishes to Muslims in Kenya and across the world, urging them to maintain the spirit of discipline, prayer and helping the less fortunate even after Ramadan.

At the same time, Duale used the moment to call out the Opposition, urging leaders to focus on real issues affecting Kenyans instead of personal attacks.

“I urge the Opposition to focus on substantive policy issues such as housing, infrastructure, education, agriculture, universal healthcare and the stability of the Kenyan shilling, rather than personal attacks,” he said.

He also criticised civil society groups, accusing them of double standards in how they respond to political matters.

Eid ul-Fitr is a major Islamic holiday celebrated globally, marking the end of a month of fasting, prayer and reflection.
