American producer DJ Khaled has named his favorite rappers during a recent night out in Paris, France. He was asked who he thinks is the best rapper alive and said Jay-Z.
“I got a few of them that I love… Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Nas, Scarface…I got so many I love…but Jay-Z is my favorite.
He further added even when it comes to naming down to top rappers, it will still be Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, 2Pac, Nas, Kendrick Lamar and Rick Ross.
Khaled did not mention Drake, as both have had beef with each other since Drake launched his album “Iceman,” which he doesn’t seem to liked the plans. He is known to always mention Drake among his favorite artists.
Leaving Drake out has drawn attention given their long history of major collaborations. He appeared to criticize Khaled, who is a Palestinian American, over his silence surrounding Palestine.
Later, Khaled told a streamer that “Peace and love to everybody” is among the best solutions for Palestine, as the streamer stated “Free Palestine.”
The Artists have continued to inspire generations and the genre’s roots in storytelling, authenticity and music at large.
