Director of Criminal Investigations Mohamed Amin on Monday joined Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja at the National Police College, Embakasi ‘B’ Campus, for the full dress rehearsal parade of General Service Unit (GSU) recruits.
Amin joined Kanja and other senior police officers as the recruits went through their final preparations ahead of their official passing-out parade.
The rehearsal gave the senior officers an opportunity to witness the recruits as they prepare to complete their training and join the police service.
Also present were Deputy Inspector General of the Kenya Police Service Eliud Lagat and GSU Commandant Johana Tonui, among other senior officers.
The DCI said Amin’s presence was part of the Directorate’s support for efforts by the National Police Service to prepare disciplined and professional officers for active duty.
The recruits are expected to transition into active service after the passing-out parade and take up their duties in maintaining safety and security across the country.
