The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum has assured Kenyans that the ongoing fights between Iran , United States of America and Israel will not disrupt the oil supply in the Country.
In a statement seen by Tukio and shared on social media, the Ministry Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi said that the Country has sufficient oil supply.
He revealed that the governmnet has reviewed the current supply and stock position.
“As at today, the country has sufficient stocks to cover both the country and the region. We have scheduled imports for delivery up to end of April 2026 and, therefore, as it stands, we are assured of security of supply,” the statement read.
The ministry said that they will continue monitoring the situation while continuing with government-to-government (G-to-G) suppliers to enhance supply.
