China announces zero tariffs on all African products entering its market, marking a milestone in China-Africa economic relations.

The announcement was made during the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), a meeting that brought together representatives from 53 African nations.

The zero-tariff initiative is expected to boost African exports, strengthen trade ties, and encourage industrial development across the continent.

Speaking during the Ministerial Session, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs Musalia Mudavadi reiterated the country’s support for FOCAC’s ongoing agenda.

“Kenya fully supports the declarations that will shape the 2025 Ministerial Summit,” he stated.

The meeting lays groundwork for the upcoming 2025 FOCAC Ministerial Summit, which will also mark the 25th anniversary of the Forum’s founding.
